All aboard, the Little Engine That Could takes passengers to Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU), and historic landmarks, picking up valuable knowledge at each stop.

After slavery, most colleges and universities in the United States prohibited African Americans from attending. Thus, historically black colleges and universities were established to give educational opportunities to African Americans.

Howard University is a historically black research university. It is number one in sending Black students to medical schools, number one producer of Black communications and journalism professionals, number two producer of Black law professionals, and number one in greatest opportunities for minority students in business.

This puzzle is recommended for boys and girls nine + years old. Designed/illustrated by prison artists.
